🎯 CBT Examination Pattern & Preparation Strategy

  • Domain Specific Weightage (70% – 80%): Focus heavily on Pharmaceutics (dosage calculations, dosage forms), Pharmacology (mechanisms, ADRs, drug interactions), Clinical Pharmacy, and Hospital Pharmacy.
  • General Aptitude & Reasoning (20% – 30%): Practice daily mock questions covering General Intelligence, Basic Arithmetic, General Awareness, and Public Health Programs.
  • Negative Marking Strategy: Most CBT exams carry 0.25 (1/4th) negative marking. Avoid blind guessing and prioritize accuracy on high-confidence questions.
  • Time Management: Allocate 45-50 seconds per technical question during practice tests to reserve 15-20 minutes for revision at the end.

📑 Statutory Document Verification (DV) Requirements

  • No Interview Notice: As per Government of India (DoPT) and State Commission rules, interviews are completely abolished for Group C / Non-Gazetted Pharmacist posts. Selection is 100% based on CBT marks followed by Document Verification.
  • Pharmacy Council Live Registration: Candidates must hold active registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948 with the respective State Pharmacy Council as of the crucial eligibility date.
  • Educational Dossier: Original 10th Certificate (Date of Birth proof), 12th Science mark sheet, D.Pharm / B.Pharm semester mark sheets, and diploma/degree certificate.
  • Category & Domicile Certificates: Valid OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, SC, or ST certificates issued within the valid financial year as specified in the official notification.
